More Caribou tix at Melodiya

Sloth and Megatunes sold out of Caribou tix for tonight's show, but Melodiya still got some. Melodiya is the best record store in town anyway, so more people sould go there more often and buy stuff. CJSW card gets you 10% off. Plus, it's in the same space as Phoenix Comics, so you can get some action figures, too, while you're there.

Caribou/Manitoba plays Broken City May 31 & June 1

Caribou, the artist formerly known as Manitoba, of Start Breaking My Heart and Up in Flames fame, will play two shows at Broken City on Tuesday, May 31, and Wednesday, June 1. Junior Boys and Russian Futurists open. Check out the MP3 samples of under 'Discography' on Caribou's site and 'Songs/Lyrics' on the Russian Futurists site. Calgary Asian Film Festival

Next weekend (May 20-23) the 1st Annual Calgary Asian Film Festival will take place at the Science Centre. They don't seem to have a website, but the program's up at CalgaryMovies and should be avaliable on Cue Magazine as well.
